What is the best way to put away your light strings?

Are you having trouble putting away your Christmas light strings?

Here’s a tip:
1. Start with the female end of the string and begin wrapping the cord around the plug. Continue rolling the lights around and around, rotating as you wrap, forming a ball.

2. When it is time to start decorating once more, simply roll the ball on the ground to unwind it, holding the male plug end.

Packing up light strings this way will insure they stay untangled until you are ready to use them again.
